INTERFACE UPDATE

A HUD that speaks
without words

BLACKFOX SYSTEMS

We have updated the character metabolism and condition interface. Important signals are now easier to read, while the HUD feels like part of BlackFox rather than a foreign window laid over the world.

New HUD states for water, food, stamina, blood, and character condition
Each row shows the transition from normal condition to warning and critical state.
01

The essentials at a glance

Water, food, stamina, blood, and overall character condition now form one clear visual line. You do not need to lose sight of the road or the fight to understand which resource is approaching danger.

02

Warnings before the critical point

Each indicator changes as the condition worsens. Full, reduced, and critical states differ through fill, silhouette, color, and the character’s expression.

03

The pixel language of BlackFox

The new art keeps the project’s harsh, slightly retro identity. High-contrast icons remain readable against Merak without demanding more attention than they deserve.

04

Less menu, more decisions

The HUD does not make choices for you. It shows the consequences in time: continue the route, search for supplies, stop to recover, or turn back while returning is still possible.

A good interface does not shout. It warns you one second before it is too late.
