MONEY PERSISTENCE

Digital cache: money should stop disappearing

BLACKFOX FIELD DISPATCH

On Merak, money should go toward supplies, repairs and questionable decisions. Vanishing after a balance change is not on that list. We have replaced the previous wallet and bank saving system with our own.

A wallet without magic tricks

The old system was inconsistent: some players had no trouble, while others could lose money after a balance change in either their wallet or bank. Temporary workarounds did not solve it. We built our own system, tested it on the test server and deployed it to the main server.

Under the hood

The new system uses Arma’s native persistence solution and modern classes and APIs. It no longer relies on the older calls that produced deprecation warnings in newer game versions. The goal is straightforward: save money properly instead of leaning on another workaround.

Your first login matters

The transition from the old system can affect how balances appear. If you did not deposit your money before your last logout, your wallet may show 0 after login; check the amount in your bank account. An empty wallet alone does not mean the whole balance is lost. Check both balances first.

If money really is missing

For a substantial loss, contact the administration through the official Discord. Briefly describe what happened, the approximate amount and time, and include any evidence you have. We will help investigate and restore funds where needed. Please focus on meaningful losses: a dedicated rescue operation for 166 dollars can wait for another day.
