New vehicles have arrived on the island. Not the kind whose main combat module is a tired driver holding a crowbar, but transport equipped with machine guns: Tigr, HMMWV and M-ATV.
Tigr: Russian character
The Russian Tigr is available in variants with Pecheneg and Kord machine guns. Group transport and fire support for those who want to arrive with their supplies and a convincing argument on the roof.
HMMWV: a workhorse with a voice
A machine-gun-equipped HMMWV joins our fleet. A familiar military platform for travel, patrols and escort duties. On Merak, having someone cover the group is useful. Having them travel with you is even better.
M-ATV: taking the road seriously
The M-ATV with a machine-gun turret expands the choice of protected vehicles for group expeditions and convoys. When a supply run starts looking like an operation, it fits right in.
A vehicle is not a survival plan
New transport gives you more options, not a reason to stop being careful. Plan your route and crew roles. A machine gun adds confidence — and sometimes an audience nobody invited. Especially on an island that can hear.
Walking is still an option. It just sounds like a personal conviction now.
